Former President John Dramani Mahama on Sunday morning called on the Second Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin, and his family in Sombo, near Wa to mourn the loss of Hon. Bagbin’s brother, Luke Baziing Bagbin.
Mr. Mahama is in the Upper West Region for a three-day campaign tour and decided to first visit and commiserate with the family before embarking on his tours.

The former President will be interacting with delegates of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), ahead of the flag bearer elections of the party. He is calling for unity in the party as well as strengthening its structures.

Mr. Mahama, who has promised to work hard to provide jobs, reduce the high cost of living and the general economic hardship when elected in 2020, has already completed a campaign tour of the Central and Northern Regions.
