Former President John Dramani Mahama has visited the family of the late Kwaku Agyemang at Naama, a small farming village, in the Effiduase constituency of the Ashanti Region to mourn with them.
The deceased was among delegates from the Effiduase constituency who were involved in a motor accident near the Elwak Stadium on the day the National Democratic Congress (NDC) held its national delegates congress at the Trade Fair Centre at La in Accra.
Mr. Mahama expressed his condolence and prayed for the family to be strong. He said the party will liaise with the family to give the late Kwaku Agyemang a befitting burial.
For his part, the spokesperson of the family commended former President Mahama and the leadership of the NDC for showing concern and support for the bereaved family. The final funeral rites and burial is expected to be held on the 13th of December, 2018.
