Mahama congratulates India for the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft's success.

Former President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, has extended his congratulations to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Indian people on successfully landing the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft on the moon. 

The Chandrayaan-3 achievement makes India the fourth country in history to accomplish a soft landing on the moon. The country joins the ranks of the United States, China, and the former Soviet Union, now Russia. 

Mr. Mahama in a tweet praised India for its perseverance and willingness to dream big, adding that "this is a historic first and testimony to what can be achieved when a nation perseveres and dares to dream”. 

He noted that the event also underscores the limitless potential that exists in the pursuit of knowledge about the universe.
