John Mahama commiserates with Bishop Dag Heward-Mills on the loss of his son

A delegation from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) led by former President John Dramani Mahama on Thursday called on Bishop Dag Heward-Mills of the Lighthouse Group of Churches to express their condolences to him and his family on the loss of their son, Dr David Heward-Mills.

According to Mr Mahama, “losing your child is a painful experience. Bishop Dag, his family and the church's loss is our loss. We all feel a deep pain”.

Mr Mahama signed a book of condolence and expressed the condolences of his wife, Lordina, and the entire membership of the NDC to the family and the Lighthouse Group of Churches.

President Mahama was accompanied by National Chairman Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, General Secretary Johnson Asiedu Nketia, a former Chief of Staff Julius Debrah, a former Senior Policy Adviser Dr Valerie Sawyerr, NDC Director of International Relations Alex Segbefia and Director of Elections Elvis Afriyie Ankrah.
